Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the service department staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity in the service department
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies
- Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure timely completion of repairs
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide updates, address concerns, and provide training opportunities
Qualifications:
- Spanish required
- Abilities in painting, carpet tile, window cleaning, garage cleaning, snow plow, basic maintenance.
- Previous experience in retail management or customer service is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cash register operations, inventory control, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of training development principles and techniques
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively
- Experience in retail sales is preferred
- Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus
- Ability to analyze market trends and make recommendations for improvement
